THE HISTORY OF THE MERCEDES 380SL
In 1981, over 40 years ago, the first Mercedes-Benz 380SL hit the American market, having started its career in Europe in 1980.
It enjoyed great success at the time, which continues today among vintage car enthusiasts! As a worthy heir to the long line of SLs, it combines luxury, comfort, and safety, offering its driver and passengers a pleasant environment for cruising with the wind in their hair as soon as it is convertible.
Its classicism and driving qualities make it an easy and timeless car, as effective in the city as in the countryside.
FEATURES OF THE MERCEDES 380SL
The Mercedes 380 SL is equipped with a front longitudinal V8 engine. This V8 develops a maximum torque of 315 Nm from 3250 rpm and a maximum power of 204 hp at 5250 rpm transmitted to the rear wheels. This convertible is equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
THE MERCEDES 380SL IN THE DALLAS SERIES
Our Mercedes 380SL is the same as Bobby’s in the Dallas series! Convertible, red with a beige interior! We have found for you the scene in which this 380SL is seen for the last time in the series.
In this iconic scene, Pamela has just discovered that she could finally carry a pregnancy to term. Unfortunately, she had a terrible accident that would change her life for good, as well as that of her sons and husband.
Of course, we count on you not to recreate this scene when you’re behind the wheel of our magnificent 380SL !
