The beginnings of the Jaguar E-Type :

It was born from the imagination of Sir William Lyons, the founder of Jaguar. First presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, the E-Type immediately garnered admiration from car enthusiasts. Its elegant and aerodynamic design, inspired by the Jaguar D-Type race car, made a sensation. Equipped with a powerful engine and cutting-edge technology, the E-Type was not only beautiful but also high-performing.

Innovative features of the Jaguar E-Type :

It introduced numerous innovative features that contributed to its fame. It was equipped with an independent suspension on all four wheels, disc brakes, a lightweight aluminum body, and a fuel-injected engine. This combination of advanced technologies allowed the E-Type to reach a top speed of 240 km/h (approximately 149 mph), making it one of the fastest production cars of its time!
